Plan Background and Goals

The Buckley Road Corridor Concept Plan aims to establish a long-term vision for the corridor. Key priorities include addressing speeding, improving access for residents, and enhancing facilities for walking and biking.


The purpose of the plan is to consolidate existing adopted plans, identify current challenges, develop a list of prioritized future projects, and outline a strategy for the implementation of those improvements.


  • Improve safety for drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists,
  • Enhance access for residents, businesses, and emergency services,
  • Support funding efforts by positioning the County and its partners to successfully apply for state construction grants.
